NYC pictures

Last week at this time my mom and I were in New York City. It was my first time there. What a great 3.25-day introduction to the city! If you aren't on Facebook or haven't seen my pics there and are interested, click on this. (Even if you aren't on Facebook this link will still show you the pics.)

I'll share some more detailed thoughts later, but here were the highlights:

* We saw two Broadway shows: Anything Goes (where I got to see the mom from Arrested Development, as I know her) and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (sitting 8 rows from Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette—very funny!); both had great music and fun dancing.

* We took an NBC studio tour (saw the Saturday Night Live stage and Jimmy Fallon show studio). Plus we saw a great view from the top of 30 Rock.

* We toured Central Park in a pedicab. Unique experience. (All places reminded me of things I'd seen on TV and movies. I must be way into media! Oh well, that's fun, right?!)

* Figuring out the subway was fun.

* Times Square was exhilarating most of the time and only one time was it overwhelming.

* Yummy quick food. We didn't eat anything sit down but there were so many great places with healthier food than our fast food.

* World Trade Center tribute area was tearful.

* I got to see Audrey Morrison become Mrs. Brock Adams! She was the inspiration for the trip and its timing. Yay!

* And everything was terrific fun with my mom! :)
