Mightier Than the Sword

So in case you don't know, the name of my blog is Blue Ink, Medium Point. That's a dedication to my favorite writing utensil. I find it has a great flow and makes me write the neatest. (To name drop, Bic is my favorite brand.)

Well I've met second best, runner up, something unexpectedly fun:

Thanks to my generous friend-in-law, Mandi, I am now in possession of a Sharpie Pen. And I must say, it's been an entertaining journey in the handwriting department. I've written checks and other church account items with it. I took notes with it during Steve's sermon. And so far, I like the performance. I find that I enjoy printing with it a little more than I do writing in cursive with it. But all in all, I'm intrigued.

Thanks, Mandi, for expanding my horizons!

Aaah! There's nothing like a great writing utensil! I still love writing with a freshly sharpened pencil even though it's not good for every purpose. Mechanical pencils don't cut it!
